YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Activity 7: Youth AND Art and Culture   “Youth” is best understood as a period of transition from the dependence of childhood to adulthood’s independence and awareness of our interdependence as members of a community. Now days, parents find that the art field has no clear future. For them art is just a hobby and has no commercial value. In Malaysia art is not welcome among the community as there is no platform for introducing their work and the cost of production to hold exhibitions is high. So, parents do not look at the advantages of art. Our voice is that youth voices are very important for the public to listen to, especially the parents. This is for determining the future of youth. Youths want justice. The idea that we want to convey is to hold a large event called our voice.
